We make it easy for you to see all available dates for each deal and give you a direct link to book at the best price.
In addition to these deals, we also offer many resources and share our expertise about Travel Hacking, Ultra Low-Cost Carriers and many other things related to travel so you can save on your next trips and more importantly, so you can travel more often!
This is the nature of the airline industry. Companies set their prices with complex algorithms that modify prices constantly. Low price deals are always very short-lived because if they weren’t, it would no longer be a deal! For Ultra Low-Cost Carriers (ULCCs), prices change even more often to make it difficult to combine a low price outgoing flight with a low price return flight. That is why Flytrippers exists: to find those date combinations to get a low priced flight and find all sales while they are valid so you don’t miss out! In most cases, deals expire within a day or even faster, so you must act fast to take advantage of it! Only a select few of our deals involve “ultra low-cost carriers”, namely some flights to Florida and Europe. When that is the case, the “ULCC” mention is clearly featured in the top right corner of the deal image on the deal page. The majority of our deals, to all other destinations, are with “regular” airlines that have a full-service offering but offer limited-time sales on certain flights. Deals that are available are on our deal page. We don’t have any more hidden in a dark room somewhere unfortunately. But as explained in Question #4, deals change literally every single day. So if we don’t have a deal to Mexico today, we might still have a great one the very next morning. Unfortunately, due to very high demand, we cannot perform any individual searches. Our specialty is finding great limited-time deals, which is what you’ll find on our deal page. While all the information we provide on the website is completely free, we might eventually offer a premium personalized search service for a nominal fee, if you are interested, let us know. Our two types of deals, namely ULCC deals and deals with “regular” airlines, both have different reasons to be so cheap. But in all cases, there is no catch. ULCCs have business models that allow for lower fares and “regular” airlines often hold limited-time sales to promote destinations or reduce excess capacity.
We only publish flights that are exceptional deals! If the price isn’t heavily discounted, it’s not a deal and doesn’t belong on our deal page. We add new destinations every single day based on what discounts are available in your market that day. We have featured over 200 destinations since our launch so the best way to see as many varied cities as possible is to come back as often as possible. As mentioned in Question #5, if you want to find the best price for a specific destination even if it is not in our daily deals, we have made our search tool available to you, so you can compare 20+ reservation sites and find the very best price. This is the same tool we use ourselves to find deals, so you can be certain that you will find the lowest price available at the time of your search.
Every single deal we feature is quoted in Canadian dollars and includes all mandatory taxes and fees. Be mindful that prices vary quickly (see Question #2) so double-check that the final price when booking hasn’t changed and is quoted in the proper currency. Even though we use Canadian dollars to make life simpler for you, some booking sites are American and bill in US dollars so make sure the correct price is indicated. Unfortunately we can’t control booking sites, we just send you where the best price is.
Usually, deals that are heavily discounted are for departures in the following three months so last-minute flights are definitely not the norm. However, some deals are also for flights as far as six months ahead, although they are much less frequent. The most simple way to see deals for your desired dates is to visit our website very often and subscribe to our newsletter to get deals directly in your inbox.
As mentioned in Question #2, all our deals are limited-time only. Some are extremely short-lived and sell out in hours because the price is so low. Bottom line is deals can last for a day or for an hour, and there is unfortunately no surefire way for us (or anyone else for that matter) to know or predict how long a deal will last. We spot great prices for you as soon as they become available and publish them so you can get them before they’re gone. But to get prices this low, you have to accept the reality that sometimes prices change quickly. It is therefore very important to book these deals as quickly as possible before they expire. For the moment, it is possible that incorrect prices are on our deal pages if the deal has expired quicker than we can update the prices so act fast if you want to take advantage of a deal.
For the moment, we want to concentrate on our biggest strength, which is finding unbelieveably low-priced flight deals. This way, it gives you more freedom to choose your preferred accomodation type (staying with family/friends, hostels, AirBNB, hotels, luxury retreats, resorts, etc.) either on your own or through our accomodation search engine. It is quite possible that we will start offering packages in the near future for those who prefer bundled deals, so subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know and in the meantime book your stays through our search engine manually.
