The best way to save on parking… is not to drive to the airport. It’s almost always way less expensive. But in some situations, it’s obviously not possible — and some people always prefer the more convenient option over the more affordable one.
In these cases, the official on-site airport parking is often the most expensive option (once again: because there are always people who will choose convenience over affordability).
So here are our 2 favorite tools that we use ourselves to find the cheapest airport parking options when we need them (while you wait for a more detailed guide we’re working on about airport parking and how to get to the airport for less in all Canadian cities).
Park Sleep Fly
Park Sleep Fly is an aggregator that gathers different parking options. But more importantly, as the name says, they specialize in options that come with a hotel night in addition to parking.
This means you can get a hotel night before your departure flight or after your return flight, plus parking for your car.
I’ve used this option several times. It’s very convenient, especially if you live a little further away, but even if you don’t, sometimes it’s the same price as just parking anyway! Might as well get a hotel night as a bonus!
It’s available in Toronto, Calgary, Halifax, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Victoria, Winnipeg and Montréal, and several nearby cities in the US for those departing from a US airport to save money (we’ll soon have a guide about that tip too).
Airport Parking Reservations
Airport Parking Reservations is also an aggregator that gathers different parking options.
As with everything in the travel world, it’s always good to compare to see the best prices. They list parking in Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Hamilton, Kelowna, Ottawa, Saskatoon, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg and US cities.

While the least expensive option is obviously not to drive to the airport, there are several handy tools you can use to find more affordable parking than the official expensive airport parking lot (and maybe even a night at a hotel before or after your flight).
