It’s been years since we’ve shared any cruise deals, but when I saw this one pop up, I figured I’d retest the interest of Flytrippers travelers for this type of deal. A 7-night cruise in Alaska for 389 USD is really not expensive.
Obviously, it won’t last long. Just like the many good flight deals we spot every day for you! It’s for sure gonna sell out fast. That’s pretty much the basics of a good deal! You need to prepare in advance by simply thinking about when and where you’d be interested in going.
We really aren’t excited about cruises ourselves, but we know a lot of people do. Flytrippers helps you travel for less with our 3 types of content, namely flight deals, travel rewards, and tips/inspiration/news.
Here’s the Alaska cruise deal.
What’s the Alaska cruise deal?

We’re travel experts, but definitely not cruise vacation experts. That said, what we do know very well is that you should obviously plan your trips around good deals, exactly like with plane tickets.
Paying full price for a cruise really doesn’t make sense; there are always good deals on Cruise Direct if you’re even remotely flexible.
This is really not expensive.

As mentioned, the same cruise costs 1347 CAD on the Norwegian Cruise Line website.

The most important tip to be able to take advantage of flight deals (or cruise deals), is thinking ahead. Write down all your potential travel dates and all the destinations you’re open to.
Finally, I don’t even feel like talking about the US boycott, given that every day, more than 50,000 Canadians visit our neighbor to the South. It’s still the most visited country by Canadians, by far. Even though, yes, it’s gone down.
But we haven’t talked about it over a year later.
Everyone can decide not to go anywhere, but by the same logic, everyone can also decide to go anywhere… if you’re being consistent.
But I do want to say that personally, I go to Costco every week, and it’s always packed. And clearly, it just doesn’t make sense to go there and boycott trips to the United States. Costco is an American company… and it would be so easy to just go to Canadian stores if you really want to boycott.
Costco is easily replaceable; you can find the exact same products elsewhere. Just more expensive. It seems like a lot of the people boycotting US travel who still shop there just don’t believe in the cause enough if it affects their wallet and if they have to do something. As always, criticizing others is way easier.
An Alaska cruise is really not as replaceable. It’s unique. Just like my trip to NYC with my girlfriend in late June. A completely unique city, one of a kind.
