I was among the 4 travel experts interviewed by La Presse, the leading newspaper in Montreal, about destinations where Canadian travelers can get more bang for their buck… and where you’ll get **less** bang, too. For over 8 years now, Flytrippers has been repeating that affordable countries are the key to traveling for less!!! Personally, I absolutely love them!
My favorite affordable country **in Europe** was selected for the article. It’s a great one, even if it’s nowhere near as affordable as so many amazing countries I loved on other continents (which I obviously all recommend much more than Europe if you really want to save). This coastal European gem will soon no longer be off the beaten path, so you should go before!!!
By the way, almost all of my favorites among my 70+ countries visited are affordable countries… and certainly not touristy popular overcrowded places like Spain, France, Canada, or the United States (and all experienced travelers I know feel the same)!
Speaking of our Southern neighbor, my comment about the cost of traveling to the United States, with our terrible Canadian dollar, made it into the article as well.
