AMAZING: New BMO VIPorter cards now available (points redeemable for flights on Porter or Air Transat)

WOW: ≈ $1590 with the free welcome bonus, that’s incredible!!! There’s a slight caveat for some… but if so, the offer is still excellent (but lower; ≈ $870)! I also re-share a few vital tricks for beginners in the wonderful world of travel rewards.

Great deal: $1025 with one of the highest-ever offers for simple points redeemable for any trip (and 4 free passes for VIP airport lounges)

One of the best offers ever seen in Canada for simple points (redeemable for any trip at an easy fixed value). And VIP airport lounges are pretty amazing! You really must not miss this deal if you like traveling for less and don’t want the one above…

Monthly live video this Sunday, March 30th at 1 PM (Eastern): Join us to learn about the best current deals or to ask any questions

I’ll give you more info on the incredible deals available now to help you choose, and then I’ll answer questions to share my expertise.

Air Canada airport lounge access benefit: Ultimate guide

Air Canada lounges are much more exclusive than those of other global networks, but you can still access them for free **be paid to access them**, just for a few years (rather than infinitely like the other lounges).

Air Canada Café Lounge Montreal (YUL): First look at the all-new lounge (at the media event for the official opening)

A new lounge option that is **very** different! I was able to try it first for you (Toronto already has one, and Vancouver will get one too). Very useful for travelers who often fly on Air Canada and have the great Air Canada free lounge access benefit.

Updated guide on the 48 Aeroplan partner airlines: New category with 7 “special partners” (points redemptions on the 41 other partner airlines are still the best option, by far)

The changes have now taken effect. We took the opportunity to revamp the map and the rest of this guide to help you. I’ll remind you again that traveling on partners (NOT ON AIR CANADA) is the best way to maximize the value obtained! Too many people still don’t know this, unfortunately.

New Aeroplan award chart: Real minimum/median prices added for Air Canada and the 7 special partners (alongside the amazing, unchanged guaranteed fixed prices for 41 of the 48 partner airlines)

To be very clear, the guaranteed fixed prices have not changed at all for 41 of the partners. More data on the (more expensive) prices of Air Canada flights has been added by Aeroplan to give you a better idea!

Basics reminder: The 2 only types of rewards redemptions that exist (new infographic to summarize THE most important thing about the redemption aspect)

You absolutely cannot get very far if you don’t understand this basic concept. It’s vital. I’m trying to explain it again, this time in an infographic. Don’t hesitate to leave a comment below to tell us how we can clarify it even more!

Updated: Guide with all your point redemption options for 13 popular rewards programs for Canadians (VIPorter points added now that they’re extremely relevant)

We didn’t have VIPorter in there, because it was a completely useless program without a credit card obviously. But that’s certainly no longer the case now with this week’s launch. What others would you like us to add in the next update?

Aeroplan eStore promotion: 7 pts/$ (≈ 10.5% back) at Amazon (Big Spring Sale 2025)

Bonus points that are so easy to get, once again. That’s ≈ 10.5% on top of what you earn on your credit card (with your credit card alone, you should always be earning 10% or even 20.5% if you’ve understood how to earn a lot of rewards).
