You are currently viewing A Marriott hotel has 55 rooms with a view of the Toronto baseball stadium

One of the most unique hotel room features in North America is undoubtedly being located directly inside a baseball stadium. Yes, the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel has 55 incredible rooms with direct views of the Rogers Centre field, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. And they are still available for tonight and tomorrow!

The Blue Jays have a chance to win the World Series tonight, and suddenly everyone in Canada really wants Toronto Maple Leafs fans to be able to celebrate and be happy…

Here is a short article about these unique rooms where some lucky big-spending fans can watch the action.

What are the hotel rooms with a view of the baseball stadium in Toronto?

It’s quite simple: the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel was built on one of the sides of the baseball stadium.

So, because of that, the hotel has 55 unique rooms overlooking the baseball field.

The rooms are officially called “Field View Guest Rooms”.

The bedroom windows can be opened, allowing you to enjoy this truly unique experience!

How much does a hotel room with a view of the baseball stadium in Toronto cost?

As you can imagine, these rooms are obviously very expensive during the World Series.

But contrary to what you might think, they are not all booked for tonight and tomorrow in case of an ultimate Game 7!

But they are VERY expensive!!!

Marriott Bonvoy points are great for easily earning lots of free hotel nights, or for getting very expensive rooms for a disproportionately low number of points.

But that’s for standard rooms, not higher-class rooms like these ones, unfortunately.

And the Marriott Bonvoy Amex Card gives you a shortcut to a higher Marriott Bonvoy elite status, which entitles you to free upgrades. But… while free upgrades to suites are almost always offered outside North America and Western Europe, they are less common in these regions, which are too expensive and too crowded with tourists (and elite status members).

The chances of getting upgraded to a room with a view of the baseball stadium during the World Series are probably very low.

During a regular season game, on the other hand, who knows? Prices are lower too, if you want a unique experience and just want to see any baseball.

Those who booked these rooms for tonight and tomorrow are definitely big spenders.

Why?

One of the most basic (yet little-known) tips is to book a room immediately as soon as you think there’s even the slightest chance you’ll need one, especially during popular dates or events (such as the World Series, for example).

Because you can almost always get a free refund before a certain deadline (often as late as just 1 day before your check-in).

That’s why you should also recheck accommodation prices constantly (whether you booked in cash or in points), as they often go down. You can then pocket the savings if you’re a savvy traveler.

But the rates for the games’ dates seem to be a special rate with non-refundable conditions. It’s not super clear, actually. But there’s a good chance you had to pay for it and hope the series didn’t end before your game!
