You are currently viewing Amazon Deal: 9 Free Books For Every Canadian (No Catches)

We sure love free stuff here at Flytrippers. So how about getting 9 completely free e-books, thanks to Amazon’s World Book Day promo. Every Canadian can get them, and there are no catches. It ends April 24th though.

It’s not travel-related per se, but the 9 books have been purposely selected because they are from 9 different countries around the world. Amazon promotes the giveaway as “read for free, explore the world”… and exploring the world is definitely something we can get behind.

And it is deal-related though, and that’s our specialty. Our article about the Lonely Planet travel book sale was popular too, and the only thing better than something discounted is something free.

And we genuinely do love free stuff (that’s why we’re re-launching our Travel Hacking section soon for those who want to learn to get free travel, subscribe to be the first to know when it’s ready… because the only thing better than our flight deals is free travel).

Free E-Books

So for those 9 free e-books: no need to purchase anything, no need to be an Amazon Prime member, no need to have an Amazon Kindle device.

Just go to the giveaway page, and you can download 9 free e-books completely free. You’ll need a Kindle app to read them, but the app is free for any device.

While you’re on Amazon, we recommend these 25 must-have travel items that we swear by (especially #3, that daypack follows us literally everywhere – it’s so useful when traveling).

And any time you have something to order on Amazon, we do appreciate if you click to the website through our links (for any purchase): it is at absolutely no cost to you, and helps us continue to provide amazing flight deals and travel content for all Canadians completely free. Thanks!

Amazon Tips

A great tip for Amazon purchases: if you want to increase your rewards for your purchases, don’t just pay with a credit card. Get a credit card that has a category bonus (the best is the American Express Cobalt that earns 5X the points on food, but there are others) and use it to buy an Amazon gift card at a food store to earn 5X the points instead of just 1X. Keep in mind that you won’t have your credit card’s extended warranty coverage this way, so it’s best for household items and things like that.

For a $200 purchase, that’s 1,000 Points instead of just 200… 5 times more free travel. Want to triple-dip? Click to Amazon through Aeroplan’s shopping portal instead of our own links for Aeroplan miles on top of your regular credit card points (we won’t get our commission but that’s okay because you get something extra!!!)

That’s the beauty of Travel Hacking. We’ll have a detailed article on this useful tip and many more in our new upcoming Travel Hacking section (here is the link subscribe to our list again so you can be the 1st to get all these pro tips) !

Summary

If you want to read 9 free books from around the world, take advantage of this promo before it ends April 24th.
