In addition to your credit card rewards on those large expenses, with this Aeroplan-Chexy partnership, you can get a welcome bonus of 7,000 Aeroplan points (value of ≈ $105 for economy class or ≈ $210 to UNLIMITED for business class) for a limited time.

Here are the details of the partnership between Aeroplan and Chexy.
What is the Aeroplan-Chexy partnership?
Aeroplan has launched a partnership with Chexy to give you even more points when you use the tool for the 1st time.
Aeroplan is the best rewards program if you want to maximize the value of the free travel you get. The best redemption is always for luxurious business class flights, but Aeroplan points can also be great for economy class flights.
Chexy is a bill payment service that allows you to earn more rewards. Specifically, if you want to maximize, you can get more welcome bonuses and bigger welcome bonuses by using your credit cards for large expenses that normally can’t be charged to your credit cards.
Or at the very least, you should use it to get a net return of 2.25% on everything in a very simple way. Yes, there’s a fee to use Chexy, but paying it is obviously very savvy if you use the right credit cards, and this is not debatable.

What is the welcome bonus offered as part of the Aeroplan-Chexy partnership?
It’s 7,000 Aeroplan points that are pretty easy to get for most travelers! This is in addition to the net rewards of 16.75% that you can get on Chexy by using the right card!
It’s true that it’s not much compared to the 52,000 Aeroplan points you get by unlocking the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Card‘s welcome bonus, but this is on top of everything else.
Here are the details of the welcome bonus as part of the Aeroplan-Chexy partnership:
- For those who have never made a payment
- There’s a way around that
- 1,000 Aeroplan points
- Create a free Chexy account
- Link your Aeroplan account
- Make a 1st payment
- 6,000 Aeroplan points
- 125 points per payment
- Maximum 4 payments per month (500 points)
- Maximum 12 months (48 payments for 6,000 points)
- There’s no minimum amount for the payment
- For either of the 2 parts of the bonus
- Countdown starts the day of your 1st payment
- Each of the 12 months starts on that day of the month
- Promotion ends September 30, 2026
- You don’t need to make all payments by that date
- You only need to link and make the 1st payment
- Easy to sign up in a few clicks (as always)
So, you just need to be organized by setting yourself a reminder to make 1 payment (split into 4) before the end of each of your month for 12 months. To be very clear, the 1st month starts on the day of the month when you make your 1st payment (calendar months are not relevant).

Is the Aeroplan-Chexy partnership worth it?
Absolutely. It makes no sense not to use Chexy. On top of being able to unlock more welcome bonuses and bigger welcome bonuses thanks to your payments, you’re going to get 7,000 Aeroplan points!
The 7,000 Aeroplan points have a value of ≈ $105 at our conservative Flytrippers Valuation for economy class flights (≈ 1.5¢/pt), but the value is ≈ $210 to UNLIMITED for luxurious business class flights (≈ 3¢/pt to UNLIMITED).
To give a quick example, I once again used my points and got 3¢/pt for my business class flights for my girlfriend’s and my trip to Europe in a few weeks. That’s about what I got for all my recent business class flights (9 in 2025 and 4 more this spring).
At the very least, create a free account, link your Aeroplan account, and make just 1 payment to get 1,000 Aeroplan points effortlessly!
The promotion is for everyone who has never made a payment with Chexy (even if you had already created an account without using it, according to the official terms). If you have already made a payment, you can get around that by using a travel buddy (as is almost always the case). There’s also a referral program!
